Flower Glowing

Posted by Taylor (Charlotte, United States) on 2 January 2009 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

I took this photo this summer in our yard - trying to photograph a bunny and happened to look up and see this gorgeous light streaming through the tiger lily.

I haven't look at it critically since then, and I do like how the flower is offset, but next time might include more space to the right of the flower. I think the stems add strong diagonals to the image.

I love how photography can capture a moment or a perspective that is completely unique to that photographer and time and place.
